Dear ITMMS Families,
Welcome to a new week at Island Trees Memorial Middle School!
As we settle into October, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your continued partnership and support. The strong connection between home and school is at the heart of everything we do, and working together ensures that our students feel supported, safe, and encouraged every step of the way. Thank you for all that you do every day to support your children and our school community.
We have a busy and engaging week ahead, and we wanted to share a few important events and updates:
Tuesday, October 6th
SEPTA Meeting: 7:00 PM in the Library
We invite you to join us as we collaborate to support all of our learners.
Boston Parent/Student Meeting: 6:00 PM in the General Purpose Room (GPR)
This is an important informational session for 7th grade families and students participating in the upcoming Boston trip.
Friday, October 9th
Fire Prevention Assemblies
Our 5th and 6th graders will participate in special safety presentations in the GPR (Grade 5 at 9:04 AM; Grade 6 at 9:48 AM) to reinforce key fire safety habits both at school and at home.
Interim Comments Open on Parent Portal
Interim comments will be available on the Parent Portal starting Friday. We encourage you to review these updates with your child to celebrate their progress, discuss areas for growth, and set goals together for the remainder of the quarter.
Thank you again for your constant encouragement, involvement, and partnership. Together, we make ITMMS a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow.
Wishing you and your family a fantastic week ahead!
Sincerely,
Dan Keegan
