The Home-School Connection (2/25/26)

Welcome Back, Bulldogs!
While we were all set to hit the ground running on Monday, Mother Nature decided our February break needed a final "snowy" encore. We hope the unexpected snow days allowed your family to stay safe and warm, and perhaps provided a few extra memories of sledding or cozying up inside.
A Heroic Effort All Around
While most of us were hunkered down, our incredible custodial and grounds teams were hard at work. They have been out in the elements since Sunday evening, working tirelessly to clear the lots, salt the walkways, and ensure our campus is safe and accessible.
We also want to acknowledge you—our parents and students. We know that for many of you, the last few days involved a lot of heavy lifting (literally!) to clear driveways and sidewalks. Thank you for your hard work in making sure your children could get back to us safely this morning. Whether it was a snowblower or a shovel, your "Bulldog grit" was on full display!
Celebrating Our Students
The blanket of white outside is a beautiful backdrop as we reflect on the electric energy that filled our halls just before the break. We are still beaming with pride when we think about the wonderful week your children had:
-
Dreaming Big: From seeing our students’ aspirations on Future Self Day to our Student Leaders serving with such grace at the Ronald McDonald House.
-
Building Connections: Our 5th graders benefited from the wonderful mentorship of the high school's Athletes Helping Athletes (AHA) members.
-
Shining Stars: The Talent Shows for all grades were absolute highlights! It was a joy to see our students find the courage to share their gifts on stage.
-
A Community of Heart: Between the 5th-grade trip to the Engeman Theater and our celebration of P.S. I Love You Day, our students continue to show that they are as kind as they are talented.
Looking Ahead
There is a unique magic in "new beginnings," even those that start with a bit of shoveling! As we reopen our doors today, we do so with the hope of clearer skies and the excitement of the many great events still to come this spring.
Thank you for your ongoing support and for the resilience you instill in your children every day. We are so happy to have our Bulldogs back in the building!
With gratitude and Bulldog pride,
Dan Keegan
